About the concert:
The American a cappella band Duwendé is touring Europe, November 2023. We are happy to announce that they’ll stop by Copenhagen performing with the Danish award winning a cappella group Singers.
Be prepared for a very special vocal night full of beauty, nice grooves and great tunes, delivered by the best.

SINGERS:
Bass, beats and strong lead singers. That’s what characterizes Singers. This powerful, Danish vocal group was founded in 1993 and its members have been spreading their love for singing and their joy of music around Denmark, Europe and Asia ever since.
The current constellation consists of 2 girls and 4 guys all with elaborate backgrounds in the music scene in Copenhagen. Not only as members of Singers but also individually as solo artists, backing singers, instrumentalists and music teachers. Singers has released 3 albums, “Singers”, “Breathing” and “EP”.
Singers have been awarded with several prizes in competitions in Taiwan and Graz, both for their performance and arrangements. Their repertoire is pop- and jazzsongs from artists like Madonna, Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder re-arranged for the 6 singers.

DUWENDÉ (Doo-WEN-day) is a six-person a cappella band best known for their fiercely original, bass-and-beatbox-driven funk/pop style of music.
In 2011, Duwendé released Remember: The Music of Michael Jackson, gaining them widespread acclaim, and leading them to performances for the Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta, the United Nations, Save The Children Benefit dinner hosted by Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee, the Bill Clinton Global Initiative, World AIDS Day Event in Amsterdam, and the Sundance Film Festival.
With their successful YouTube channel (over 10 millions views), the band has a growing fan base that circles the globe, and their music and arrangements have been used on TV shows internationally.
